Buildcargo is a China-based freight forwarder for post-purchase home-project logistics. You choose and buy; we organize the transport. You do not have to buy through us.
Furniture, doors, glass, cabinets, stone, flooring and sanitary ware from one or several suppliers are reviewed against our published cargo limits.

From your first photo to your payment receipt
- Confirm the receiving plan before sending goods. Start with a photo or order and your Belgian postcode. Before suppliers send anything, agree supplier delivery or arranged collection, the receiving services and their basic charges.
- Review the arrivals and packing. We record suppliers, received packages, visible outer condition and transport measurements. This is package-level receiving; detailed item-by-item checking is separately agreed. Factory packing and Buildcargo-arranged packing can be reviewed; extra crating or reinforcement is quoted before work.
- Approve the measured quote and transport contract. Packed sizes, weight, stacking limits and ready dates determine shared-container or full-container options. Before shipment, confirm the formal quote and contract covering freight, import and tax scope, home handover and separately requested unloading.
- Pay the freight bill after container loading. Confirm the payee company and receiving account before you transfer. Once funds arrive, we confirm payment and provide a receipt.
Ready small orders can join daily consolidation; booking and departure are confirmed separately. Daily loading does not mean daily sailings or same-day departure.

A written landed-cost plan for a private buyer
For eligible private-home orders, you do not need your own VAT number or to prepare customs invoices. Suppliers provide cargo information; Buildcargo coordinates export and European import. Your name, email and home address start the receiving arrangements.
After reviewing the goods and import responsibility, the written plan lists included China-side work, freight, clearance, applicable duties and VAT, and residential handover. Unloading and indoor services are agreed separately.

From China to your home in Belgium
Our current Belgium route is China → Rotterdam or Antwerp entry and clearance → Düsseldorf-area warehouse in Germany → the agreed Belgium address. We confirm the actual gateway for the shipment.
The Germany warehouse connects the consolidated shipment to onward dispatch and the local delivery appointment. The European network overview shows this connection.
Before the truck is booked for your home, share the postcode, approach-road or entrance photos, parking restrictions and the planned handover point. We check maps and street views with the local carrier. Any smaller vehicle or special access cost is confirmed in the quote.
For pallets and wooden crates, agree the unloading equipment and people before arrival. We can help contact local forklift and labour providers if needed; availability and fees are confirmed separately. Carrying inside, stairs and installation are separate arrangements. Plan the handover and unloading.
Allow about 45–55 days from receipt at our China warehouse with the shipment information complete to handover at your home. This is a planning range, not a guaranteed delivery date. Your written quote confirms the expected window; customs and delivery appointments can affect it.
Real operating records, with their country kept clear
Our approximately 10,000 m² Düsseldorf-area warehouse supports the current Belgium delivery arrangement. View the crated cargo, loading bays and warehouse handling, plus the separate European delivery record from 2023.
The completed Spain doors-and-glass case shows packing, container loading and residential handover for 49 packages weighing 4,620 kg and measuring 30.51 m³. The Italian villa product record shows a mixed shipment of 121 declaration lines, 94 product descriptions and 322 units.
These public examples document their stated countries and operations. They are not presented as completed Belgian customer projects or as a promise that every order follows the same timeline.
What should I send for a Belgium quote?
Send a photo, product link or order screenshot and your Belgian postcode. Tell us whether the goods are ready and when your home can receive them.
With the necessary information during normal China working hours, shared-container prices usually take about 30 minutes; full-container prices about four hours. The final quote follows warehouse measurement and packing review.
Later, the quote checklist covers suppliers, ready dates, materials, quantities, value, packed dimensions, weight, access and handover needs. The readiness check is optional.
Frequently asked questions
Can a private buyer without a VAT number use this service?
Yes, for eligible cargo under the coordinated European private-home plan. You do not need your own VAT number or to prepare customs invoices yourself. Suppliers provide the goods information; the written quote identifies the import, tax and delivery scope.
Can you deliver directly from Antwerp to my Belgian home?
That is not our current standard arrangement. After European entry and clearance, the cargo goes via our Düsseldorf-area Germany warehouse before onward delivery to Belgium. We write the actual gateway, warehouse connection and residential handover into the shipment plan.
When do I pay, and who receives the payment?
Ocean freight is paid against the freight bill after container loading. Confirm the payee company and receiving account in the contract and bill before transferring. RMB and USD bank transfers and foreign-currency transfers to our Hong Kong account are supported. We confirm arrival of funds and provide a receipt. Other transport modes have separately agreed terms.
Can my goods wait until the renovation is ready?
Yes. Plan the dispatch around your renovation where possible. China storage is free for 14 days from the first arrival, then RMB 100 per shipment per day. Germany storage has seven free days, then RMB 700 per shipment per seven days. Partial periods and release arrangements are confirmed in writing.
What if I have no forklift or a large truck cannot reach the house?
Tell us before dispatch. We review the address with maps, street views and the local carrier, and confirm an appropriate vehicle and any extra charge. We can help contact local forklift and labour providers if needed. Unloading, carrying inside, stairs and installation are included only if separately confirmed in writing.
