Who this route is for
This route fits overseas homeowners, designers, contractors and project buyers who have already bought building materials such as doors, cabinets, flooring, sanitary ware and lighting, together with furniture or other eligible home products in China. One supplier or several suppliers can be considered. The supplier addresses, ready dates and packing status should be recorded before collection starts.

What Buildcargo can coordinate in China
- Collect from one or several suppliers in Foshan, Lecong, Shunde and other eligible Chinese cities.
- Receive each order under a separate reference; record piece count, labels, visible outer-package condition, measurements and gross weight.
- Review packing as a separate step and quote export crating or reinforcement when required.
- Consolidate the identified orders and plan the container or shared shipment from the final packed data.
- Coordinate export handling, international freight and destination delivery according to the written quote.
Standard receiving does not equal full product QC. Product-level inspection must be agreed against an order, drawing, sample or written acceptance standard.
What must be checked for Spain
Imports into Spain use the EU customs framework, but the actual VAT, importer and product-compliance position still depends on the named country and shipment. Check the official EU TARIC, EORI guidance, EU VAT guidance and Spanish Tax Agency — Customs. Final classification and tax scope require shipment-specific review.
Product material matters. Furniture, wood, stone, glass, electrical goods, sanitary ware and building products can require different commodity codes, certificates or trade-remedy review. Do not rely on a generic furniture duty estimate for a mixed home order.
Route and final delivery to Spain
Spain can be served through more than one European gateway. The nearest port is not automatically the best route: cargo size, sailing availability, customs arrangement, inland distance and the final Spain postcode all affect the plan. Buildcargo confirms the actual gateway and final-mile scope in writing.
For eligible cargo, a written plan can cover customs clearance, applicable duties and VAT, and delivery via Rotterdam or Antwerp, the Buildcargo-operated warehouse near Düsseldorf, and onward distribution to Spain. The actual gateway and included charges are confirmed before booking.

We review the address using maps and street views to assess access and quote a suitable vehicle, subject to the local carrier's confirmation. Standard delivery ends at the agreed accessible outdoor handover point. A forklift, tail lift, unloading labor, inside delivery, stairs or installation is not included by default. If needed, we can help contact local forklift or unloading providers; their availability, scope and fees are confirmed separately. Waiting time, address changes and redelivery can create additional charges if triggered.
Selected evidence and customer privacy for Spain
Buildcargo publishes a completed doors-and-windows delivery record for Spain: 49 packages, 4,620 kg and 30.51 m³. The record includes the packing-list summary, packing and loading, dated transport milestones, receiving evidence and customer feedback. It shows how glass and heavy building materials were handled in that shipment; it does not guarantee the timing or result of another order.

Frequently asked questions
Can you collect from several Chinese suppliers?
Yes. Each supplier needs an address, order reference and ready date so the orders can be received separately and kept identifiable before consolidation.
Can my Spain quote include freight, customs clearance, duties and VAT?
Yes. For eligible cargo, the written plan can include international freight, customs clearance, applicable duties and VAT, and delivery to an agreed, vehicle-accessible outdoor handover point in Spain. Buildcargo's European company has its own VAT registration; private buyers do not need their own VAT number. The quote confirms included charges and exclusions. Unloading, inside delivery and installation are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
Will the driver unload or carry the furniture inside?
The standard delivery does not include unloading or carrying inside. If you need a forklift or unloading workers, we can help contact local providers and confirm availability, scope and charges before delivery. These local services are arranged and charged separately from standard freight. Inside carrying, stairs and installation still need separate written confirmation.
Do I need my own VAT number or customs paperwork as a private buyer?
No. For our eligible EU duty-paid service, private buyers do not need their own VAT number or to prepare customs invoices or declarations themselves. Suppliers provide the actual product and transaction information; Buildcargo coordinates English packing lists and customs formalities through its European operating arrangement. You still provide accurate order details, your delivery address and contact information.
Does a small shipment have to wait for a full container?
No. A ready, eligible shipment does not have to wait solely to fill a container. Buildcargo loads trucks and sends ready cargo to the port daily; smaller eligible orders can join this dispatch flow. Packing and documents must be confirmed first. Daily port dispatch does not mean a daily sailing or that every order leaves immediately: the booked vessel and cutoff determine the sea departure.
When and how do I pay for a sea shipment?
We give a preliminary estimate, then a formal quote after warehouse receipt, measurement and packing review confirm the cargo and agreed services. Freight is collected when the goods are loaded aboard the vessel, by RMB or USD bank transfer; we provide a payment receipt once funds are received. See the European service terms.
